Vic Lennard managed to make a career from the odd combination of music, maths and journalism.
Music
Handling most styles from folk to soul and heavy rock, he's spent the past 50 years playing live and recording. Current projects include the Sugar Street Band, ROME and Rock Shabbat UK.
Maths
A qualified secondary school maths teacher who spent 10 years working in schools, he has tutored children from 11+ to A-level, logging over 20,000 hours of private tuition. He currently runs maths clubs in a local school for year 11 GCSE students and is also an Examiner for OCR exam board. Currently studying for a postgraduate advanced certificate in educational studies.
Journalism
With over 1200 published articles in 40+ magazines and a couple of books, he's a seasoned professional. He launched and edited Mac Action, the UK's first Mac games mag, was production director for TRMG (which included handling the multi-lingual Formula 1 brochures) and spent over 10 years as creative services manager for a top-100 UK charity.
He now spends most of his time playing guitar in bands and duos around Cambridge and Peterborough plus running half marathons!
